This is a fantastic opportunity to teach within a department that encourages curiosity, independent thinking and a genuine interest in both physical and human geography. The successful candidate will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4, with the opportunity to deliver A-Level Geography.
Lessons explore a wide range of topics including ecosystems, climate change, urbanisation, global development, natural hazards and sustainability, helping students understand the complex challenges facing the modern world.
The Humanities faculty works collaboratively to develop exciting schemes of work that incorporate fieldwork, enquiry-based learning and the latest geographical research. Students regularly participate in educational visits, field studies and enrichment activities that bring classroom learning to life and develop practical geographical skills.
