Geotechnical Engineer - Glasgow Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 REF: (phone number removed) Are you a Geotechnical Engineer looking to join a well-established specialist ground engineering consultancy? Our client is an experienced and highly regarded consultancy providing geotechnical, geophysical and geoenvironmental investigation and advisory services to the civil engineering and development sectors.

Working on a diverse range of projects across Scotland, this is an excellent opportunity for a Geotechnical Engineer to develop their technical skills within a knowledgeable and supportive team. Based near Glasgow, the successful Geotechnical Engineer will be involved throughout the project lifecycle.

The role will involve: Planning and managing ground investigations Undertaking site work and supervising intrusive investigations Logging soils and rock Reviewing laboratory data Producing high-quality interpretative reports Providing practical geotechnical recommendations You will have the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio, gaining exposure to a range of specialist ground engineering projects.

Requirements

To be considered for this Geotechnical Engineer position, you should have relevant geotechnical or engineering geology experience and a strong technical understanding of ground investigation and reporting. A full UK driving licence and full right to work in the UK are essential.
