This is a rare opportunity to join a specialist research and engineering team working on high-performance materials used in extreme environments. /p p br /p p Youll receive structured training, mentoring from experienced scientists and engineers, and the opportunity to build expertise in a highly specialised field. /p p br /p p strong What youll be doing /strong /p p From day one, youll work alongside experienced materials scientists and engineers on projects that support the development and manufacture of advanced products. /p p br /p p strong Youll gain experience in: /strong /p ul li Researching and developing advanced materials /li li Investigating how materials behave under extreme temperatures, pressure and mechanical loads /li li Supporting material testing, analysis and qualification /li li Solving real manufacturing and engineering challenges /li li Working with production and engineering teams to improve manufacturing processes /li li Producing technical reports and presenting findings /li li Supporting new material development for future technologies /li /ul p br /p p No two days are the same, and youll quickly gain exposure to the complete product lifecycle—from research through to manufacturing. /p p br /p p strong What were looking for /strong /p p Were much more interested in your curiosity, enthusiasm and willingness to learn than years of industry experience. /p p br /p p strong

Youll ideally have

/strong /p ul li A degree (or be graduating this year) in Materials Science, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related scientific discipline /li li A genuine interest in materials and how they perform in real engineering applications /li li Strong analytical and problem-solving skills /li li Excellent communication and teamwork skills /li li A proactive attitude and desire to continually develop your knowledge /li /ul p br /p p Industrial placements, laboratory experience or manufacturing exposure would be advantageous but are not essential. /p p br /p p strong Why join? /strong /p p This isnt a role where youll spend every day in a laboratory.
