Groundworker

We are currently looking for an experienced Groundworker with drainage experience to join a busy construction project in Tidworth. The successful candidate will have previous experience working on civil engineering or construction sites, with a strong understanding of drainage, groundworks and associated activities.
Key ResponsibilitiesCarrying out drainage and groundworks to the required specification. Installing and connecting drainage pipes, underground drainage and associated systems. Laying pipes, manholes, inspection chambers and associated drainage systems.
Carrying out backfilling, compaction and reinstatement works. Installing ducting and other underground services where required. Operating small tools and groundworking equipment. Assisting with concreting, kerbing, foundations and general groundworks.
Working safely around excavations and underground services. Following site drawings, RAMS and instructions from the Site Supervisor/Foreman. Maintaining a clean and safe working area. Working as part of a wider groundworks/civil engineering team. Carrying out other general groundworks duties as required. Essential Skills
