Group Accountant

If you're a technically strong qualified accountant who enjoys statutory reporting but also wants to add value through projects and process improvements, this could be the ideal next move. Joining a large, well-established, multi-site business, you'll take ownership of statutory reporting across multiple legal entities while working closely with senior finance leaders, auditors and the wider business.
What you'll be doing
Preparing statutory accounts under UK GAAP (FRS102)Leading year-end audit activities and managing auditor relationshipsSupporting tax reporting and regulatory complianceEnsuring robust balance sheet reconciliations and financial controlsResearching technical accounting matters and implementing new standardsDriving finance process improvements and supporting transformation projectsPartnering with stakeholders across various functionsAbout you: ACA or ACCA qualifiedStrong technical accounting and statutory reporting experienceConfident managing external auditsExperience within a large group or multi-entity environmentStrong Excel skills and experience using ERP systemsProactive, commercially aware and keen to improve processesRobert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
