Our client is a growing, technology-enabled business with a strong customer base in regulated industries. The company is hiring a Group Financial Controller as it enters an important phase of development and invests in its finance capability to support continued growth.

We are seeking a commercially minded Group Financial Controller to lead financial control, reporting and transformation initiatives. Reporting to the CFO, you will be comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment and supporting a business through change.

The Group Financial Controller will take ownership of consolidated reporting, statutory compliance, financial controls and the development of scalable systems and processes across a multi-entity group.

You will work closely with the CFO and senior leadership team, providing reliable insight and ensuring the finance function is well positioned for the next stage of growth.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting.
  • Strengthening financial controls, governance and reporting processes.
  • Managing statutory reporting, audit and compliance requirements.
  • Providing technical accounting support on business change and transactions.
  • Overseeing cash flow, working capital and treasury.
  • Supporting the integration of new entities and development of the group structure.
  • Leading and developing the finance team.
  • Partnering with senior stakeholders on commercial and strategic decisions.
  • Delivering finance transformation, systems improvements and automation.

As a Group Financial Controller, you will be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, with substantial financial control and group reporting experience. You will bring strong technical accounting knowledge, commercial judgement and a track record of improving processes within a growing or changing organisation.

Experience in an investor-backed, acquisitive or otherwise high-growth environment would be highly beneficial.
