Job Description Group Management Accountant South Northamptonshire / North Oxfordshire Border Permanent | Full Time | Office Based SF Recruitment are supporting a growing, multi-entity organisation in the appointment of a Group Management Accountant to join their central finance team.
Reporting into the Group Financial Controller, this is a broad, hands-on role with responsibility for producing accurate management accounts, supporting Group reporting and providing meaningful analysis around business performance. The Role
Key responsibilities will include
Preparation of monthly management accounts across multiple entities Month-end journals, accruals, prepayments and provisions Ownership of balance sheet reconciliations and financial controls Supporting Group consolidation and intercompany accounting Variance analysis against budget, forecast and prior periods Providing clear commentary and insight around financial performance Supporting budgeting, forecasting and external audit Stock, margin and cost accounting Working with operational and non-finance stakeholders Supporting improvements to finance processes, systems and reporting The Candidate We're looking for a part-qualified, finalist or newly qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant with strong management accounting and month-end experience.
You'll ideally have experience within a multi-entity or Group environment, although this isn't essential. More important is a strong technical grounding, confidence with balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis, and the ability to investigate numbers rather than simply report them.
