Job Description About the role Pay £13.45 per hour (Salary £26,300 per annum, pro rata) + Health Cash Plan Home, a place where you belong We have a brilliant opportunity to join our fantastic team in Exeter. We are the multi skilled hands-on practical support that helps our colleagues deliver services to our customers.
We work with customers who have experienced homelessness, across a range of properties and grounds. As our handy person youll spend much of your time working at Prospect House in Exeter with occasional visits to our site in Northgate court.
Typical day Perform minor or emergency repairs, decorating and cleaning in properties and communal areas. Handle tasks like hanging curtain poles, moving furniture, touching up paint, changing washers, unblocking sinks, mowing lawns and clearing grounds.
Carry out regular fire safety checks. Work closely with colleagues, contractors and customers Liaise with Customer Service Centre and contractors to report and follow up on repairs outside your remit. Why join us Your skills make a real difference to peoples lives and communities.
