Job Description Hard Landscaper / Groundworker Salary: Up to £31,000 per annum, depending on experienceLocation: MerseysideJob Type: Permanent – Full TimeThe Role Our client is looking for an experienced Hard Landscaper / Groundworker to join their team, working across residential properties throughout Merseyside and the surrounding areas .This is a hands-on role focused primarily on hard landscaping and external maintenance , including paving, flagging, fencing, gates, pointing and minor brickwork repairs.
The successful candidate will have strong practical skills and take pride in delivering high-quality external works, ensuring properties and communal areas are safe, functional and well presented. Up to £31,000 per annum , depending on experienceCompany van and fuel card23 days' annual leave plus bank holidaysOngoing training and developmentLong-term permanent opportunityOpportunities for progressionEmployee discounts and benefitsKey Responsibilities Carry out hard landscaping and external maintenance works to residential propertiesInstall, repair and replace paving, flags and slabsComplete repairs and replacement of fencing and gatesCarry out pointing and minor brickwork repairsRepair and maintain paths, driveways and other external areasCarry out minor groundwork associated with landscaping projectsRemove and replace damaged paving and external surfacesPrepare ground and surfaces for paving and other landscaping worksDiagnose defects and identify the appropriate repair solutionWork across residential and communal areasMaintain clean, safe and tidy working areasUse hand and power tools safely and effectivelyComplete work to a high standard while maintaining excellent customer serviceRecord completed works accurately using PDA/mobile technologyAbout You We're looking for an experienced Hard Landscaper, Landscaper, Groundworker or External Works Operative with a strong background in residential or property maintenance environments.
You should have practical experience across a range of hard landscaping works, particularly paving, flagging, fencing and brickwork .The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in hard landscaping, groundwork or external maintenanceStrong experience with paving, flagging and slab installation/repairsExperience installing and repairing fencing and gatesExperience with pointing and minor brickwork repairsGood knowledge of external maintenance and repair techniquesAbility to work independently and complete jobs to a high standardExperience working on residential properties or within occupied/tenanted homes is advantageousComfortable using hand and power toolsAbility to use a PDA or mobile device to update work ordersRelevant NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent construction qualification is desirableFull UK driving licenceDBS check, or willingness to undertake oneRight to work in the UKInterested?
