We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Health & Safety Consultant / Fire Risk Advisor to join our team, delivering expert advice and support to our valued clients.

Key Responsibilities

Manage your own portfolio of clients and schedule support visits in line with contractual requirements Conduct Health & Safety audits and Fire Risk Assessments, producing clear and practical action plans Support clients in implementing recommended actions and improvements Maintain and update client records via our bespoke online Health & Safety Management System Develop and review policies, processes, and procedures tailored to client needs Collaborate with colleagues to enhance service delivery, share industry knowledge, and improve internal resources Stay up to date with current UK Health & Safety legislation and best practices

About You

NEBOSH General Certificate, Diploma, Fire Certificate, or equivalent (minimum requirement) Proven experience in a Health & Safety advisory role and in completion of Fire Risk Assessments in a client-facing role. Member of professional body, IOSH, IFSM etc.

Professional, friendly and support approach to implementation of H&S requirements with clear understanding of legislation and best practice. Strong communication and organisational skills with the ability to influence leaders and workers in a variety of setting and industries.

Ability to work independently and manage a varied workload Knowledge of, and experience in implementing, Management Systems, primarily H&S but knowledge in relation to Quality and Environmental management is a benefit. Full UK driving licence (essential due to travel requirements throughout Scotland) REF-230 315
