Heat Pump EngineerCentral Scotland | To £45,000 | Full-Time, PermanentA growing and ambitious renewable energy contractor is looking to add experienced Heat Pump Engineers to its team as part of an exciting expansion phase.

This is a great opportunity to join a small but rapidly scaling business, where engineers are valued, progression is real, and high-quality work is prioritised over volume installs. The RoleCovering projects across Glasgow and Edinburgh, you'll be responsible for delivering complete heat pump installations within domestic and small commercial environments.

You'll take full ownership of installations from start to finish, working independently on-site while maintaining high technical standards and customer satisfaction. Key responsibilities include:Installation of air source heat pump systemsUpgrading existing heating systems for low-temperature operationInstalling cylinders, pipework, and emittersCommissioning systems and handing over to clientsFault finding, servicing, and remedial worksManaging materials and ensuring smooth project deliveryThe CandidateWe're looking for a capable and self-sufficient engineer who takes pride in their work and is confident running jobs independently.

You should have:Strong experience in heating system installationsExposure to or experience with heat pumpsGas Safe registrationGood understanding of domestic heating systems and regulationsFull UK driving licenceDesirable:Experience with underfloor heating systemsAbility to interpret heat loss calculations or system designsStrong fault-finding skillsThe PackageSalary: £40,000 - £45,00028 days holiday8% pensionCompany vanTools, PPE, and equipment providedPaid holidaysOngoing training in renewable technologiesCareer ProgressionThis is where the role really stands out.
