Job Description Heavy Vehicle Service Advisor We're looking for an organised, confident and customer-focused Heavy Vehicle Service Advisor to join our busy HGV workshop. You'll be the link between our customers, technicians and workshop team, managing jobs from booking through to completion and invoicing.
The Role Book in HGVs for servicing, repairs, inspections and MOT preparation Raise and manage accurate job cards Liaise with technicians to monitor job progress and identify additional work Keep customers updated on repairs, costs and timescales Obtain customer approval for additional work Order parts and liaise with suppliers when required Prepare accurate invoices for completed work Support the Workshop Manager with daily planning and workflow Maintain accurate workshop records and administration What We're Looking For Experience in a HGV, commercial vehicle, fleet or dealership workshop Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent organisation and ability to manage multiple jobs Good understanding of workshop processes, job cards and invoicing IT literate; DMS experience would be an advantage A confident, practical approach and the ability to work under pressure What We Offer Competitive salary Overtime opportunities Training and career development Supportive, professional workshop team Stable, long-term career prospects If you have commercial vehicle workshop experience and enjoy keeping customers, technicians and jobs moving, we'd like to hear from you.
