Job Description Class 1 DriverThe Role: HireGiant are looking for a reliable and professionalClass 1 Driverto work with our client based in Daventry, this will consist of doing 1 trunk per night to Thurrock. Your responsibilities as a HGV1 driver will include: Completingdeliveries to businessesDriving the class 1 curtain side trailer in a safe manorno handball, this is a nice haulage roleEnsuring all paperwork and PODs are completed accuratelyMaintaining excellent customer service standardsRequirements for the Class 1 driver: ValidHGV 1 (Category C+E) LicenceValid CPC & Digital Tachograph cardStrapping and Reversing competenceNew pass LGV1 Drivers welcome training and support providedHGV LTD drivers welcomeHours & Pay for the Class 1 HGV Driver: Start times between 21.00pm/ 8-10 hours work.
