Job Description HGV Class 1 ADR Night Driver – Middlesbrough People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver to join our well-established client based in Middlesbrough. This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as a LGV Class 1 Driver, CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver. Shifts: Monday to Friday Start times: 17:00 Rates of Pay: £19.00 per hour

Duties
Your duties as a HGV Class 1 ADR Driver will be: Transporting goods on a curtain-sided vehicle (no handball involved) Completing trunk runs between depots or client sites Operating and driving HGV Class 1 (CE) vehicles safely and efficiently Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle checks Ensuring all loads are safe, secure, and compliant Adhering to traffic laws and company procedures Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers Reporting any vehicle defects or maintenance needs promptly Essential
Skills
The skills required to be a HGV Class 1 ADR are: Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence Minimum of twelve month's experience driving Class 1 (CE) vehicles Valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card ADR Certificate (essential) No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no major endorsements) Strong communication skills and attention to detail Excellent timekeeping and reliability Sound understanding of UK road transport regulations Desirable Experience: Previous commercial driving experience in trunking or regional logistics Training: Industry related training and ongoing support throughout.
