HGV Class 1 Day Drivers

HGV Class 1 Day Drivers Grafters Recruit are currently looking for HGV / Class 1 / CE Drivers to work out of our client's premises in Crewe on an on-going basis with immediate starts available. For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a double decker heavy goods vehicle.
• Completing trunk runs only, depot to depot.
• Ensuring all paperwork and logs are completed accurately.
• Carrying out vehicle checks and reporting any defects. For this HGV / Class 1 / LGV1 / C+E Driver role, you will need:
• CE licence with a minimum of 2 year's experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• No more than 6 points.
• DIGI and CPC Card. Details of this HGV / Class 1 / LGV 1 / C+E Driver role:
• Hourly rate of £19.06 per hour with a 6th shift paid at £28.59 per hour.
• Monday – Friday with 6th shift available if driver wants one.
• 4am – 8am starts (driver can pick)
• Positive and friendly environment including free on-site parking.
• Minimum 8hrs guaranteed per shift, even if you do less.
• No handball
