HGV Class 1 (C+E) Night Tramping Driver Location: Redruth area, Cornwall Pay: £16.71 per hour Night Rate: £19.21 per hour between 00:00 and 06:00 Schedule: Monday to Friday Start Time: Approximately 18:00 CDS Labour is recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for a well-established food distribution business specialising in the transportation of frozen seafood.
This is a night-tramping position involving long-distance deliveries in refrigerated vehicles. The Role Long-distance transportation of frozen seafood Driving refrigerated Class 1 vehicles Night driving with approximate 18:00 start times Monday-to-Friday tramping Completing vehicle checks before and after each shift Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time Completing all relevant paperwork Following drivers hours and Working Time Directive regulations Maintaining professional communication with customers and the transport team What Were Looking For Valid HGV Class 1 / C+E licence Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card Previous Class 1 driving experience Comfortable with night work and sleeping during the day Willing to undertake Monday-to-Friday tramping Good knowledge of drivers hours and road safety regulations Reliable, professional and safety-conscious Refrigerated transport experience would be helpful but is not essential Pay and Benefits £16.71 per hour standard rate £19.21 per hour for hours worked between midnight and 06:00 Regular Monday-to-Friday work Good earning potential through tramping hours Weekly pay Long-distance routes Support from an experienced transport team If you are an experienced Class 1 driver looking for regular night-tramping work, apply today!
