Job Description HGV Class 1 Driver - Nights - LinwoodPeople Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's established transport operation based in Linwood. You must be aged 25 or over for insurance purposes.
This is a fantastic opportunity offering £40,000 per annum for an experienced driver to join a professional transport operation carrying out deliveries and collections throughout the UK.The role offers the opportunity to work within an experienced driving team, with a strong focus on safety, compliance, and providing a high standard of service.
This role would suit candidates with experience as an LGV Class 1 Driver , Category C+E Driver , or Articulated Lorry Driver. Duties
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will work: Operating Class 1 (Category C+E) vehicles safely and efficientlyCompleting deliveries and collections throughout the UKLoading and unloading vehicles in line with company proceduresUsing appropriate loading and unloading equipmentEnsuring all loads are safely secured before and during transportationMaintaining the security and integrity of loads throughout the delivery processCarrying out all duties in accordance with relevant legislation and company proceduresComplying with vehicle safety requirements and road traffic legislationOperating digital tachographs correctly and in accordance with current regulationsAdhering to drivers' hours legislation and the Working Time DirectiveMaintaining a professional and courteous approach when dealing with customers, colleagues, and managementEssential
Skills
