HGV Class 1 Driver – Nightshift – Double-Manned Trunking – Dalkeith / Newtongrange People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Dalkeith / Newtongrange .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £19.10 per hour, ongoing nightshift work, overtime after eight hours, weekly pay and long-term opportunities. £19.10 Per Hour | Nightshift | Double-Manned Trunking | Overtime After 8 Hours | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work Working as part of a two-person driving crew, you will complete trunking runs between distribution centres, ensuring goods are transported safely, securely and efficiently.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category C+E Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Trunking Driver. Shifts Nightshift Start times between 5:30pm and 6:30pm Double-manned trunking runs Ongoing work available Rates of Pay £19.10 per hour Overtime paid after eight hours Weekly pay Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: Weekly pay Competitive nightshift rate Overtime opportunities after eight hours Ongoing work Supportive team environment Immediate starts available Full paid site induction Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include: Completing double-manned trunking runs between distribution centres Working alongside another driver to complete scheduled journeys Carrying out vehicle safety checks before and after each shift Ensuring all goods are transported safely and securely Completing all required delivery paperwork accurately Following Drivers' Hours and Tachograph Regulations Working closely with your driving partner to complete deliveries efficiently Maintaining high standards of road safety and professionalism at all times Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will need: Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) driving licence Valid Driver CPC qualification card Valid Digital Tachograph Card Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience Good communication skills Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach Ability to work effectively as part of a two-person driving crew Desirable Experience • Previous trunking experience would be advantageous but is not essential Training Provided Full paid site induction Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing nightshift trunking work in Dalkeith / Newtongrange , with excellent rates of pay and overtime opportunities, apply today.
