HGV Class 1 Driver – Birmingham, West Midlands - £17.12–£34.24 Per Hour | No Handball | Depot-to-Depot Trunking | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts | Temp to Perm People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Birmingham, West Midlands .

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, depot-to-depot trunking with no handball, ongoing work, immediate starts and the potential to secure a permanent position. This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 1 Driver, LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or Class 1 Delivery Driver.

Shifts Start times between 11:00am and 5:00pm Week 1: Sunday to Friday Week 2: Monday to Friday Rotating two-week working pattern Rates of Pay £17.12 per hour – Basic rate (6:00am–10:00pm) £22.78 per hour – Night premium rate (10:00pm–6:00am) £34.24 per hour – Sunday rate Weekly pay Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will receive: No handball – clean depot-to-depot trunking work Excellent hourly rates of pay Weekly pay Ongoing, full-time work Immediate starts available On-site canteen and facilities Potential temporary-to-permanent opportunities Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include: Completing depot-to-depot trunking deliveries Driving HGV Class 1 articulated vehicles safely and efficiently Carrying out vehicle checks before and after each shift Ensuring loads are secure and compliant Following delivery schedules and planned routes Adhering to road traffic legislation and company procedures Completing all duties without handball requirements Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE (Class 1) Driving Licence Minimum 12 months' HGV Class 1 driving experience Valid Driver CPC Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences Reliable and professional approach to work Ability to follow delivery schedules and safety procedures Desirable Experience • Previous HGV Class 1 depot-to-depot trunking experience Training Provided Driver assessment required before starting Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing work in Birmingham, West Midlands , offering excellent rates of pay, no handball and potential permanent opportunities, apply today with your updated CV.
