HGV Class 1 Driver - Southam People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in Southam, Warwickshire . This would suit applicants who have worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver or Articulated Lorry Driver. Rates of Pay: Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday Start time: 06:00

Duties

Your duties as an HGV Class 1 Driver are: Completing Class 1 trunking runs and trailer swaps Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently Ensuring compliance with all road traffic legislation and company procedures Conducting vehicle safety checks before and after each shift Communicating effectively with transport planners, dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects, incidents and maintenance requirements promptly Ensuring all loads are secured correctly and transported safely Maintaining accurate driving and tachograph records Delivering a professional and reliable service at all times Essential

Skills
