Job Description HGV Class 1 Driver |£20.17 per hour | Monday to Sunday | 16:00 Starts | Ongoing | Local Deliveries Pure Staff's Driving Team is currently recruiting HGV Class 1 Drivers for our client based in Bristol. This role involves completing local deliveries of palatalised and boxed aggregates to builder's merchants, offering consistent night shifts from Monday through to Sunday.
Drivers will start at 16:00, with shifts typically finishing between 04:00 and 06:00, depending on the route and delivery schedule. You will be operating a modern Class 1 articulated flatbed vehicle with cage sides, completing around three deliveries per shift.
As part of the role, drivers will be responsible for strapping and securing loads to ensure safe transportation. Previous experience with flatbed vehicles and knowledge of load restraint procedures would be highly advantageous.

What We're Looking For To be considered for this HGV Class 1 Driver position you will need: A valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence A valid Digital Tachograph Card A valid Driver CPC / DQC A minimum of 12 month's HGV Class 1 driving experience No more than 6 penalty points on your licence Confidence securing and strapping loads Good understanding of Driver's Hours and Working Time regulations A professional, reliable and safety-conscious attitude Previous flatbed, builder's merchant, aggregate or load-strapping experience would be advantageous.
