Job Description Staffline are recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers for our client based in Sherburn in Elmet, LS25Minimum 6 months experience required for this roleWorking Patterns;Sunday to ThursdayTuesday to SaturdayStarting either 04:00 - 06:00 or 13:00 - 16:00Guaranteed 5 shifts on the Sunday-Thursday/Tuesday-Saturday pattern!
PAYE rates for the role of HGV Class 1 driver are as follows: Days: £18.75 per hourNights £19.50 per hourSaturday: £20.25 per hourSunday: £21 per hourBank Holiday Day: £22 per hourBank Holiday Night: £25 per hourYour Time at WorkWe are currently recruiting for experienced and reliable HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team, delivering totes, pallets, and black boxes to stores and RDCs across local and regional routes.
Minimum 6 months experience required for this role and a someone able to use initiative.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivery of totes, pallets, and black boxes to stores and distribution centres- Operating tail lifts, pump trucks, and dock levellers- Completing 1-4 drops per trailer (typically 1 run, occasionally 2 per shift)- Ensuring safe and efficient loading/unloading of goods- Carrying out store deliveries, some of which involve tight access and reversingWe are mainly looking for drivers to any shift pattern across a 7 day period.
All patterns considered. The busiest days are between Thursday to Sunday.
