Job Description HGV Class 1 Driver - TEMP TO PERM A temporary to permanent opportunity is available for HGV Class 1 Drivers to support transport operations in the Ashby-de-la-Zouch area. This is a night shift role offering competitive hourly pay and weekly payment.

Key responsibilities Completing planned deliveries and collections safely and on time Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects promptly Ensuring loads are secure and handled in line with required procedures Completing delivery paperwork and maintaining accurate records Following drivers hours, working time and road safety regulations Representing the business professionally at delivery and collection locations Keeping the vehicle clean, secure and in good working order Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 1 licence, Category C+E Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC) Valid digital tachograph card Previous HGV Class 1 driving experience Good knowledge of UK roads and transport regulations Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious approach Professional communication skills and a responsible attitude Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively
