Trainee HGV Class 1 Driver £13.50 per hour increasing to £18.00 per hour when fully trained | Bicester | Full-time Are you an experienced 3.5T Driver looking to take the next step in your driving career? We are currently recruiting for a 3.5T Driver to join a busy removals operation in Bicester, with a genuine opportunity to progress into HGV Class 1 driving.

Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates. You will initially work as a 3.5T Driver as part of a friendly and hardworking removals team. Following successful completion of your probationary period, the company will put you through your HGV Class 1 training, giving you the opportunity to progress into a fully trained Class 1 Driver.

Pay & Benefits £13.50 per hour starting rate Progressing up to £18.00 per hour once fully trained on HGV Class 1 45 hours paid per week, although the average working week is around 40 hours Typical working hours of approximately 07:30 – 16:30 HGV Class 1 training provided following successful probation Permanent position Opportunity for weekend overtime Night shift opportunities once fully trained Opportunity for European driving work once fully trained The Role As a 3.5T Driver, you will work as part of a removals team, driving to customer locations and assisting with the safe loading, transportation and unloading of furniture and belongings.

The role involves: Driving a 3.5T vehicle safely and responsibly Loading and unloading furniture and customer belongings Working closely with the removals team Ensuring goods are handled carefully and securely Delivering a professional service to customers Assisting with general removals duties as required Following successful completion of your probationary period, you will have the opportunity to begin your HGV Class 1 training and progress into a Class 1 driving role.

About You We are looking for someone who: Holds a full UK driving licence Has experience driving 3.5T vehicles Is reliable, professional and hardworking Works well as part of a team Is comfortable with the physical nature of removals work Has good customer service skills Is keen to develop their career and progress into HGV Class 1 driving Previous removals experience is beneficial but not essential.
