HGV Class 1 Drivers – Bristol | Temp-to-Perm Days & Afternoon Trunking | Monday to Friday | Immediate Starts Looking for reliable HGV Class 1 driving work in Bristol ? Pay Rates: holiday pay is accrued Day Deliveries: £18.00 per hour Afternoon Trunking: £19.00 per hour Weekends £20.00 *** Estimated weekly earnings £900–£950 based on 50 hours worked, before deductions. *** The role Day Deliveries: Start times between 05:00 and 07:00, completing approximately 1–6 deliveries per shift.
Afternoon Trunking: Start times between 16:00 and 18:00, completing one return trunking journey using a curtain side trailer with pre-booked delivery slots. Monday to Friday working patterns. Day delivery shifts typically 9–12 hours.
Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and ensure loads are transported safely and securely. Complete delivery paperwork and follow site procedures. Comply with drivers' hours, tachograph and Working Time Regulations. Long-term temporary assignments with temp-to-perm opportunities .
Requirements You must have: A valid UK HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence. A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. No more than 6 points on your driving licence (minor endorsements only). Minimum 1 year's relevant Class 1 driving experience.
