HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Lichfield – £19.00 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for an HGV Class 1 Night Driver to join our well-established client based in Lichfield . This is a fantastic opportunity offering £19.00 per hour, Monday-to-Friday night shifts, ongoing work, immediate starts and opportunities for growth and progression. £19.00 Per Hour | Monday to Friday Nights | 19:00–22:00 Starts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 1 Driver, Category CE Driver, Articulated Lorry Driver or HGV Trunking Driver.

Shifts Five nights per week, Monday to Friday Start times between 19:00 and 22:00 Ongoing night work available Rates of Pay £19.00 per hour Weekly pay Benefits As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay On-site canteen Training provided Immediate starts available Employee wellbeing programme Opportunities for growth and progression Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 1 Night Driver, your duties will include: Completing night trunking work for Boots Operating Category CE vehicles safely and efficiently between delivery locations Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are correctly secured Adhering to road traffic laws and transport regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading goods where required Maintaining high standards of customer service Essential Skills Valid UK Category CE Driving Licence Minimum of 12 months' Category CE driving experience No more than six penalty points for minor offences No major driving endorsements Valid Driver CPC Card Valid Digital Tachograph Card Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous experience with night trunking operations Experience delivering to distribution centres Training Provided Industry-related training provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing night work in Lichfield , please apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
