Job Description Full job description HGV Class 2 DriverEdinburghPermanent | Full TimeWe are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver . This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful company supplying equipment to the construction, utilities, and infrastructure sectors.
The RoleAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe loading, delivery, and collection of heavy plant equipment to customer sites across the region. Youll play an important role in ensuring deliveries are completed efficiently while providing excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesLoading, delivering, and collecting heavy plant equipment safely and efficientlyCarrying out vehicle and equipment checksDemonstrating hire equipment to customers when requiredCompleting all relevant paperwork and hire documentation accuratelyEnsuring compliance with transport legislation and Health & Safety proceduresMaintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all timesCandidate RequirementsApplicants should have: Previous experience within an HGV driving role involving plant machinery or heavy equipmentA valid Class 2 (Category C) licenceValid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph cardRecent experience towing trailersGood understanding of Health & Safety proceduresStrong communication and customer service skillsA reliable and professional attitudeWhats on OfferPermanent, full-time roleSalary of £34,000 with an avg bonus of £1,500 per year (totalling £35,500)Ongoing training and developmentLong-term career opportunities within a growing businessOnly days start time of 7.30am - 4.30pm Monday - FridayOvertime paid at 1.5x and Sunday 2xIf youre an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for your next opportunity within the plant hire sector, apply now for immediate consideration.
