HGV Class 2 Driver

DBR Group, acting as a Recruitment Business, are recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver to work at our client who are a household name in the Driving Industry, in Irlam, Manchester. Our client is a family-owned North-West based logistics company, running pallet distribution.
Dedicated distribution is what have made them successful for over 25 years, with a fleet of over 50 trucks. They are well equipped to handle any consignment. This role is an ongoing temporary position.
Duties
- Operate a Class 2 vehicle safely and efficiently
- Up to 5+ drops
- Adhere to all road traffic laws and regulations
- Smart appearance, willing to learn and be trained up
- Excellent tacho knowledge ref sound manual entry and driving hours compliance
Requirements
· Current and up to date CPC Licence · Current Digital Tachograph Licence · An effective team member who works well on their own initiative · Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work · Self-motivated with a positive attitude and extremely reliable · Excellent timekeeping and communication skills Hours: · Days - Monday to Friday (8am starts) Remuneration: · Rates to be discussed Working for an agency can be a beneficial way of having a flexible working arrangement, giving you the freedom to enjoy a better work/life balance.
