People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Sheffield and the surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, weekly pay and full training. With various shifts available across a 24-hour operation, this role is suitable for both experienced and newly qualified drivers looking for stability and opportunities for career development.

This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Multi-Drop Delivery Driver or Truck Driver. £14.50–£18.00 Per Hour | Various Shifts Available | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts | New Pass Drivers Welcome | Full Training Shifts

• Employee well-being programme Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
• Safely operating HGV Class 2 vehicles to and from delivery locations
• Completing store and home deliveries alongside a Driver's Mate
• Loading and unloading products safely and accurately
• Carrying out some manual handling and handball duties
• Completing daily vehicle safety checks and reporting defects
• Maintaining accurate delivery records and paperwork
• Communicating effectively with dispatch teams, customers and site staff
• Following all road safety regulations and drivers' hours requirements
• Providing a professional and reliable delivery service Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences (no IN, DR, DD or CD codes)
• Reliable, professional and punctual approach to work
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Understanding of road safety and driving compliance
• Ability to work alongside a Driver's Mate on multi-drop deliveries
• Willingness to undertake manual handling duties Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving or multi-drop delivery experience
• Experience handling large or bulky goods
• Previous experience completing store or home deliveries Training Provided
• Full industry-related training provided
• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment
