HGV Class 2 Driver – Leicester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a HGV Class 2 Driver – Leicester to join our well-established client based in Leicester, Leicestershire. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and opportunities to grow and progress within a busy transport operation.

This role would suit candidates with previous experience as a HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Delivery Driver, Multi-Drop Driver, or Truck Driver. Shifts Monday to Friday 06:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay: £15.80 per hour Benefits As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing work Weekly pay Training provided Immediate starts available Day-to-Day Duties As a HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include: Operating and driving Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Delivering goods to customer locations in line with planned routes Carrying out pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections Adhering to all traffic laws and transport regulations Communicating effectively with dispatch teams and customers Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance issues to management Completing delivery paperwork accurately and on time No heavy lifting involved Essential Skills As a HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need: A valid UK Category C Licence Minimum six months Class 2 driving experience Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor infringements No major endorsement codes Good level of spoken and written English Strong understanding of road safety and traffic regulations Excellent punctuality and timekeeping skills Effective communication skills Desirable Experience Previous commercial driving experience would be beneficial Multi-drop delivery experience advantageous Training Provided Industry-related training provided Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply: If you are ready to take the next step in your driving career, apply today with your CV or contact our recruitment team for further information.
