HGV Class 2 Driver – Uttoxeter, Staffordshire People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Uttoxeter, Staffordshire . This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing full-time work, weekly pay, immediate starts and paid induction training.

Drivers will work alongside a Driver's Mate, delivering and installing refrigeration equipment at retail and event locations across the UK. £16.75–£18.00 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 07:00 Starts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts | Paid Induction This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver or Multi-Drop Delivery Driver.

Important: This is a physically demanding role involving handball, manual handling and loading and unloading refrigeration equipment. A minimum of 12 months' HGV Class 2 driving experience is required. Shifts

• Monday to Friday

• Paid induction and ongoing support Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:
• Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles to delivery and collection locations across the UK
• Loading and unloading refrigeration equipment, including manual handling and handball
• Working alongside a Driver's Mate to safely deliver and install refrigeration equipment
• Completing multi-drop deliveries and collections at retail and event sites
• Managing delivery and collection paperwork using company systems
• Following company, customer and regulatory health and safety requirements
• Providing excellent customer service during deliveries and collections Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:
• Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor offences, with no major endorsements
• Good spoken and written English
• Excellent punctuality and timekeeping
• Good understanding of traffic laws and safe driving regulations
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Willingness and ability to undertake manual handling and handball duties Desirable Experience
• Previous commercial driving experience
• Experience completing multi-drop deliveries
• Previous experience delivering or handling large equipment Training Provided
• Full paid induction
