HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver – Brick Grab – Paisley – £16.00 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers – Brick Grab to join our well-established client based in Paisley and surrounding areas.

This is a fantastic opportunity offering £16.00 per hour, Monday to Friday working, weekly pay, immediate starts, ongoing work and opportunities for growth and progression. £16.00 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 06:30 Starts | No Weekends | Weekly Pay | Immediate Starts | Ongoing Work This position is ideal for applicants who have previously worked as an HGV Class 2 Driver, Class 2 HIAB Driver, Brick Grab Driver, LGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, Category C Driver, Lorry Loader Driver or Builders Merchant Driver.

Important: Candidates must hold a valid Brick Grab HIAB qualification and have previous experience operating a Brick Grab attachment. Shifts Monday to Friday 06:30 start times No weekend working Rates of Pay £16.00 per hour Weekly pay Benefits As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will receive: Ongoing work Weekly pay Immediate starts available No weekend working Site canteen Free on-site parking Opportunities for growth and progression Training provided Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Delivering building materials to construction sites and customer locations Driving HGV Class 2 vehicles safely and efficiently Operating a HIAB lorry-mounted crane using a Brick Grab attachment Completing pre-use and post-use vehicle inspections Ensuring all loads are loaded and secured correctly Following road traffic laws and transport regulations Communicating effectively with the transport office and customers Reporting vehicle defects and maintenance requirements Assisting with loading and unloading when required Completing delivery paperwork and PDA records accurately Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver, you will need: A valid Brick Grab HIAB Certificate A valid UK Category C Driving Licence A valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card No more than six penalty points for minor offences No major driving endorsements Previous experience operating a Brick Grab HIAB attachment Ability to use a PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) Good spoken and written English Excellent timekeeping and reliability Good understanding of road traffic laws and regulations Effective communication and teamwork skills Desirable Experience Previous experience driving commercial vehicles Previous multi-drop delivery experience Experience delivering building materials Previous experience working for a builders merchant Training Provided Training provided on your first day Industry-related training and ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 2 HIAB Driver with a valid Brick Grab qualification looking for £16.00 per hour, Monday to Friday working, weekly pay and ongoing opportunities, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
