Whether you're an experienced driver or have recently gained your Class 2 licence, this is an excellent opportunity to secure a permanent Monday-to-Friday role with full training provided, competitive pay of £20.00£30.00 per hour, and optional Saturday overtime.
You'll work as part of a team, assisting loaders on planned daily routes while delivering a reliable and professional service. Benefits£20.00£30.00 per hourPaid every WednesdayMonday to Friday enjoy your weekendsOvertime available on SaturdaysFull training providedNewly qualified Class 2 drivers welcomePermanent opportunity with a supportive teamKey ResponsibilitiesDriving an HGV Class 2 vehicle on planned daily routesWorking as part of a team with loaders to complete daily collections efficientlyAssisting the loaders by getting out of the vehicle and helping to load it throughout the dayCarrying out vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness and safetyCompleting relevant paperwork and daily recordsFollowing all health and safety procedures at all timesRequirementsValid UK HGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licenceValid Driver CPC qualificationValid Digital Tachograph (Digi Tacho) cardNo more than 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)Good level of physical fitness, as the role involves regular manual handling and assisting with loading duties throughout the dayPositive attitude and strong reliabilityAbility to work well as part of a teamWhether you're an experienced HGV Class 2 driver or have recently gained your licence, we'd love to hear from you.
