HGV Class 2 Driver Location: Willenhall, West Midlands Pay: £15.00 to £16.00 per hour Job type: Permanent Shift: Days An opportunity is available for an HGV Class 2 Driver to support steel deliveries from a Willenhall-based operation.
This permanent daytime role would suit a reliable and safety-conscious driver who is confident handling deliveries and working around steel materials. Key responsibilities Complete scheduled steel deliveries safely and efficiently Load, secure and unload steel materials in line with safety procedures Carry out vehicle checks and report any defects promptly Complete delivery paperwork accurately Provide professional customer service at delivery locations Follow driving, site and manual-handling requirements Skills and qualifications Valid HGV Class 2 licence Driver CPC and tachograph card Previous experience with steel deliveries or similar heavy goods work Good knowledge of road safety and delivery procedures Ability to safely handle and secure heavy or awkward loads Reliable, punctual and organised approach Clear communication skills and a professional manner Benefits £15.00 to £16.00 per hour Permanent, days-based employment Minimum of 8 hours paid Paid every Wednesday Visibility to local employers About the company The employer operates in the steel sector from the Willenhall area of the West Midlands.
