HGV Class 2 Multi-Drop Driver – Palletline – Worcestershire – Temp to Perm Location: Kidderminster / Bromsgrove / Droitwich / Stourbridge Area Job Type: Temporary to Permanent – Full-Time Salary: £15.30 – £16.80 per hour (permanent rates) Shift Pattern: Days Working Hours: Approximately 08:00–17:00/18:00 Payment: Weekly PAYE During Temporary Assignment Description Millison Chase Limited is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 (Category C) Drivers for a well-established general haulage and pallet distribution company operating within the Worcestershire area.

This is an excellent opportunity for professional drivers looking for long-term, full-time employment , with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary-to-permanent assignment. The role involves carrying out Palletline multi-drop deliveries and collections , transporting palletised freight to commercial and industrial customers across the region.

Drivers will be operating curtain-sided Class 2 rigid vehicles , completing scheduled delivery routes and collections throughout the working day. This is a busy and varied driving position, so applicants must be comfortable with multi-drop pallet distribution, customer interaction and working to delivery schedules.

We are particularly interested in drivers with previous pallet network, general haulage or multi-drop distribution experience . Pay & Holiday Pay Options Permanent Pay Rates: £15.30 per hour for the first 10 hours worked each day. £16.80 per hour for hours worked after the first 10 hours each day.

Full-time, long-term employment opportunity. Temporary Assignment: Pay In house PAYE when temp £16.81 with rolled up holiday or £15, if you accrue holiday Weekly PAYE payments directly through Millison Chase Limited. Holiday pay accrued separately or paid as rolled-up holiday pay where applicable.

No umbrella companies or third-party payroll providers. Temporary assignment pay rates will be confirmed during registration. Working Hours: Start time approximately 08:00 . Typical finish between 17:00 and 18:00 . Daily hours may vary depending on delivery routes and workload.

Responsibilities Driving HGV Class 2 Category C rigid vehicles . Completing scheduled Palletline multi-drop deliveries and collections. Transporting palletised goods to commercial and industrial customers. Operating curtain-sided vehicles safely and professionally.

Ensuring loads are correctly secured before departure. Assisting with safe loading and unloading procedures where required. Completing daily vehicle safety checks and defect reporting. Using delivery paperwork and proof-of-delivery systems.

Following customer delivery instructions and site procedures. Working efficiently to meet allocated delivery schedules. Complying with Drivers' Hours, Working Time and Tachograph regulations. Maintaining a professional and courteous attitude when representing the client.

Requirements Valid HGV Class 2 Category C Licence. Valid Driver CPC qualification. Valid Digital Tachograph Card. Previous Class 2 driving experience essential – no newly qualified drivers on this occasion. Previous curtain-sided vehicle experience essential.

Multi-drop, pallet network or general haulage experience advantageous. Good understanding of load security and safe working practices. Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules. Reliable, punctual and professional.

Good communication and customer service skills. Must be looking for long-term, full-time employment.
