HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver – Tipton – £17.50 Per Hour People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Refuse Drivers to join our well-established client based in Tipton . The role involves driving specialist waste collection vehicles and completing scheduled healthcare waste collections. £17.50 Per Hour | Monday to Friday | 13:00–14:00 Starts | Weekly Pay | Ongoing Work | Immediate Starts | Paid Induction This position is ideal for applicants looking for a role as an HGV Class 2 Driver, LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Rigid HGV Driver, Refuse Collection Driver or Waste Collection Driver.

Shifts Monday to Friday Start times between 13:00 and 14:00 Ongoing, full-time work Rates of Pay • £17.50 per hour basic rate Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will receive: Excellent hourly rates Ongoing, full-time work Weekly pay every Friday Full training provided Immediate starts available Employee wellbeing programme Paid induction and ongoing support Day-to-Day Duties As an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): Driving HGV Class 2 specialist waste collection vehicles to collection locations across the UK Operating soft-compaction vehicles similar to refuse collection vehicles Completing approximately 20–30 collections of Euro bins containing healthcare waste Carrying out manual handling duties when collecting and moving waste bins Managing collection paperwork using company systems Following company, customer and regulatory Health & Safety requirements Providing excellent customer service during collections Essential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Refuse Driver, you will need: Valid UK Category C (Class 2) Driving Licence Valid Driver CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card Minimum 12 months' experience driving Category C vehicles No more than six penalty points for minor offences, with no major endorsements Good spoken and written English Excellent punctuality and timekeeping Good understanding of traffic laws and safe driving regulations Strong communication and teamwork skills Willingness and ability to undertake manual handling and handball duties Desirable Experience Previous commercial HGV Class 2 driving experience Experience completing multi-drop collections or deliveries Previous experience operating refuse collection or specialist waste collection vehicles Training Provided Paid induction training Ongoing support throughout your assignment Apply If you are an experienced HGV Class 2 Driver looking for ongoing work in Tipton, offering excellent hourly rates, weekly pay and Monday-to-Friday shifts, apply today.
