The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Lutterworth area. We are looking for multiple HGV Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team on weekends. Shifts: Weekend Day Drivers - predominately Sunday but potential for Saturdays.
Start times between 04:00am - 06:00am Night shift 01:00am Twilight shift 14:00pm Pay Rate: Class 2 Days- £15.11 per hour PAYE Class 2 Nights - £16.92 per hour PAYE Class 2 Twilight - £16.02 Per hour PAYE Location:Lutterworth, LE17 Job Type: Ongoing with an opportunity for permanent for the right candidate.
The role
Safely handling and conveying palletised packages to sub depots. Emphasizing safe driving practices and ensuring precise documentation. Typically completing 1 to 2 runs during the day. Drivers will need to contribute to the loading and unloading of the vehicle, utilising a tail lift and pump truck.
Engaging with customers while upholding a professional and polite image on behalf of the company.
Requirements
Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C). Have proven experience driving the relevant vehicle. Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
