Job Description Job description: The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the Hemel Hempstead area. We are looking for multiple HGV Drivers to join the team.

Shift: Class 1 and Class 2 availableDays - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend included)Afters - Across Monday to Sunday (weekend included)Nights- Sunday to Friday (Sunday's and Fridays included)Pay Rate: Class 2:Days - £15.67 per hour PAYETwilight £16.45 per hour PAYENights - £18.03 per hour PAYEClass 1:Days/Afters - £17.40 per hour PAYEClass 1 Twilights - £ 17.82 per hour PAYENights - £19.52 per hour PAYELocation: Hemel Hempstead, HP2Job Type : Ongoing with the opportunity for permanentThe role: Securely moving and transporting palletised parcels to couriers or collecting them from delivery units.

Handling runs with 1-2 stops, focusing on safe driving and maintaining accurate paperwork. Drivers may be required to assist with loading and unloading of the vehicle using a tail lift and pump truck. Interacting with customers and representing the company in a professional and courteous manner.

Requirements

Full UK driving licence with Class 2 / Class 1 entitlementValid and in date CPC and Digital Tachograph card. No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).Full understanding of WTD legislation. Be prepared to undertake a short driving assessment for the position.
