Job Type: Permanent, Full-TimeOur client, a leading provider of highways and street lighting services, is seeking an experienced HGV HIAB Street Lighting Operative to join their team in Milton Keynes on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled operative with both HGV and HIAB qualifications to play a key role in the installation, maintenance, and replacement of street lighting assets across the network. The RoleWorking as part of an established street lighting team, you will be responsible for operating HGV and HIAB vehicles to support a range of street lighting activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperate HGV and HIAB vehicles for the transportation and installation of street lighting assets. Assist with the installation, maintenance, and replacement of lighting columns, lanterns, signs, and associated equipment.
Support planned maintenance and reactive works. Load, unload, and position equipment safely using HIAB equipment. Complete daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with all transport regulations. Maintain accurate records and job documentation.
Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental requirements. Essential RequirementsHGV Licence (Class 1 or Class 2)HIAB CertificationFull UK Driving LicencePrevious experience working within street lighting, highways, utilities, or civil engineering environments.
