HGV Mechanic

Location: Thrapston Pay: £21.00 – £26.00 per hour, depending on experience Shifts: Various shifts available Job Type: Permanent We are currently looking for experienced HGV Technicians / HGV Mechanics to join a busy workshop team.

This is a workshop-based role carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and fault finding on a range of commercial vehicles. Available Shifts:

• 08:00 – 18:00
• 18:00 – 04:00
• 10:00 – 20:00

The Role

• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
• Complete inspections and safety checks
• Carry out repairs to brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems
• Fault finding using diagnostic equipment where required
• Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard
• Maintain accurate service and repair records

Requirements

• Previous experience as an HGV Technician, HGV Mechanic or similar
• Experience working on commercial vehicles
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant HGV / LGV qualifications are desirable JBRP1_UKTJ
