This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and experienced HGV drivers looking for regular ongoing work, a consistent shift pattern and competitive rates of pay. The RoleAs an HGV Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for: Moving HGV vehicles and trailers safely around the sitePositioning trailers correctly for loading and unloadingCarrying out yard movements as requiredCompleting daily vehicle checksWorking closely with the transport and warehouse teamsFollowing all site health and safety proceduresEnsuring all movements are carried out safely and efficientlyPay RatesPAYEMonday to Friday: £16.50 per hour excluding holiday pay / £17.93 including holiday paySaturday: £17.48 per hour excluding holiday pay / £19.59 including holiday paySunday: £18.98 per hour excluding holiday pay / £21.17 including holiday payLTD Company DriversMonday to Friday: £20.95 per hourSaturday: £21.95 per hourSunday: £22.95 per hourRequirementsValid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licencePrevious HGV shunting or yard experience is preferredGood understanding of vehicle safety and yard proceduresReliable and punctualGood communication skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamWorking Pattern4 days on / 4 days offRegular ongoing workFull training and site induction provided where requiredAM & PM start times availableIf you are an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for a regular 4 on, 4 off shunting position, apply today.
