Job Description Academics are currently recruiting for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant for one of our 2 form entry primary schools based in East Leeds. This long term roles starts after October half term and runs until the end of the academic year.
About the Role
As a Higher level Teaching Assistant you will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across key stage 1 and key stage 2. This is a cover-based role, so flexibility and confidence in delivering planned lessons across different year groups is essential.
You will be working closely with class teachers and the senior leadership team to ensure continuity and high standards in the absence of teaching staff.
Key Responsibilities
Delivering pre-prepared lessons to classes across EYFS, KS1 and KS2Support learning outcomes by working with small groups and individual pupilsProvide targeted intervention sessions where necessaryliaise with teachers to ensure effective delivery of the curriculumUphold school policies and contribute to the wider school ethosIdeal Candidate: Holds HLTA (Higher Level Teaching Assistant) status or significant experience in a similar roleConfident across all primary key stagesCommitted, adaptable and passionate about childrens' learningAble to build strong relationships with pupils and staffMust have a DBS on the update service or willing to apply for oneThis is a perfect opportunity for an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to become part of a supportive and forward thinking school community.
