Highway Engineer / Senior Highway Engineer

38000 - 58000 per annumLondon, EnglandPermanentOur client is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant Highway Engineer to join their growing highways and development planning team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-profile development, urban street, and public realm projects for both public and private sector clients across the UK.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver highway and public realm design projects. Prepare drawings, reports, and technical documentation using AutoCAD, Civils 3D, and Microsoft Office. Work within multidisciplinary teams and liaise with clients and stakeholders.

Support the delivery of multiple projects, managing priorities and deadlines effectively. Contribute to project management, design development, and technical solutions.

Requirements

Experience in highway design, traffic engineering, or development infrastructure projects. Proficiency in AutoCAD and ideally Civils 3D.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Working towards or holding a relevant professional qualification (ICE, CIHT, or equivalent).For Senior Consultant level: Experience managing project budgets and financial performance. Ability to lead project delivery and support business development activities.
