Responsibilities
Deliver engaging History lessons across Key Stages 3-5, covering a wide range of historical periods and themes. Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities. Foster students' historical inquiry and critical thinking skills through research projects, debates, and discussions.
Assess and monitor student progress effectively, providing constructive feedback to support their growth. Contribute to the development and implementation of the History curriculum. Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to the school community.
Ideal Candidate: Passionate about History and committed to inspiring young learners. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent. Proven experience teaching History at the secondary level. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Creative and engaging teaching approach.
