Proven experience in new IC and firmware product definition for automotive and/or fragmented industrial markets, translating customer and system-level requirements into silicon feature sets, firmware feature roadmaps, Marketing Requirement Documents (MRD), value propositions, and business cases.
Proven track record in semiconductor product marketing, portfolio strategy, long-term planning, and go-to-market execution.5+ years managing and developing marketing teams in a semiconductor company, including priority setting, accountability, structured product definition discipline, and coaching of senior individual contributors.
Minimum 10 years in product marketing roles in the semiconductor industry, across Automotive, Consumer, and/or Industrial segments. Skills Strong strategic thinking with ability to prioritize in complex, resource-constrained environments Business acumen: business case development, forecast reviews, pipeline analysis, pricing strategies Technical depth: system-level architectures, semiconductor product development, qualification standards (AEC-Q100)Hands-on proficiency with analytics and productivity tools — particularly Tableau, Excel, and Microsoft 365 — with the ability to build dashboards and derive actionable insights Demonstrated experience leveraging AI tools to optimize team workflows and accelerate output Excellent oral and written communication in English; second language is an advantage Self-motivated, customer-oriented, structured, and data-driven Travel Willingness to travel across Asia, the United States, and Europe for customer visits and business engagements Travel Time:25% - 50%To all recruitment agencies: Microchip Technology Inc. does not accept unsolicited agency resumes.
