This is an opportunity to manage a highly regarded60+ bed nursing homein East Sussex. The home has an excellent reputation for resident care, reflected in itsGood CQC ratingand outstanding feedback from residents and families.
Youll take the lead in maintaining high standards across the service, developing a capable team and ensuring every resident receives safe, compassionate and personalised care. What youll be doing As Home Manager, youll have overall responsibility for the homes operational and clinical performance.
Youll provide strong day-to-day leadership, promote a positive culture and ensure the service continues to deliver excellent outcomes.
Your responsibilities will include
Leading and supporting the nursing, care and wider home teamMaintaining compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and clinical governance requirementsEnsuring care plans are person-centred, regularly reviewed and effectively deliveredManaging staffing, recruitment, rotas and employee developmentMonitoring budgets, occupancy and resources to support sustainable home performanceBuilding productive relationships with residents, relatives, commissioners and healthcare professionalsIdentifying opportunities to strengthen quality, resident experience and team engagementWhat youll bring Were looking for an experienced care leader with the confidence and clinical knowledge to manage a busy nursing home.
Youll need: An activeNMC PINPrevious Home Manager or senior management experience in a nursing home, elderly care or similar settingStrong working knowledge of CQC regulations and quality standardsProven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a multidisciplinary teamCommercial awareness and confidence managing staffing and operational budgetsA genuine commitment to delivering outstanding, person-centred careWhats in it for you?
