Housekeeper Location: Rural Dorset, near the Dorset/Wiltshire border Hours: MondayFriday, 9.00am5.00pm (40 hours per week) Flexibility: Occasional flexibility required Driving: Full UK driving licence and own reliable car essential The Role A warm, informal family is seeking an experienced, reliable and discreet Housekeeper to join their household in rural Dorset, close to the Dorset/Wiltshire border.
This is a varied role combining general housekeeping with occasional light childcare and family support . The family has two school-aged children who are at school during the day. Responsibilities Full housekeeping, including cleaning, laundry, ironing and organisation.
Preparing simple family meals Occasional school pickups and light childcare. Supporting the children's after-school routine when needed. Helping to ensure the household runs smoothly and efficiently. Using initiative and maintaining high standards throughout the home.
Occasional overnight stays Requirements Minimum 2 years' private housekeeping experience . Full UK driving licence and own reliable car. Strong spoken English and good communication skills. Flexible, approachable and able to work independently.
Excellent attention to detail and high standards. Discreet, trustworthy, responsible and reliable. Excellent written references. DBS Required Location Ideally suited to candidates based around Gillingham, Shaftesbury, Tisbury or the surrounding areas .
