Job Description We're currently recruiting a dedicated Cleaning Supervisor to help ensure the smooth running of the operations in Defence on a part time basis, contracted to 25 hours per week. As a Cleaning Supervisor, you will use your skills to maintain a high standard of quality work.

key responsibilities will include
To be the regular day-to-day client contact and maintain basic reportsTo ensure 5 start cleaning standards are delivered every dayTo manage stock control of all items within the remit of the role (linen and consumables)To train and develop the team in all tasksTo promote a safety culture and ensure the team are aware of and operate in accordance with company and client Health & Safety procedures at all timesTo ensure the delivery and quality of the operation are in accordance with the client service level agreement and company procedures as well as KPI'sRecruit, train and develop the team to ensure they have the required skills to do their jobs safely and well whilst ensuring the team is engaged and managed effectively to achieve their performance targets.
To manage the labour, equipment & resources budgetOur ideal Cleaning Supervisor will: Experience in a similar roleKnowledge of Health & Safety legislation including COSHHExcellent people managementExcellent communication skillsExperience in carrying out monitoring of quality standards/auditsIT literatePassion for training and leading a teamAble to work flexibly in line with business requirements including attending meetingsPart of Compass Group UK&I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
