Housing Disrepair Solicitor Location: Manchester or Liverpool Working Pattern: Full-time | Hybrid Working Salary: Up to £60,000 + Excellent Bonus Scheme The Opportunity A well-established and rapidly expanding specialist litigation firm is looking to appoint a Housing Disrepair Solicitor to join its growing Housing Litigation team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly regarded practice specialising in claimant housing litigation, offering high-quality work, genuine career progression and one of the strongest bonus structures in the market.

You'll manage your own caseload of housing disrepair matters while working within a supportive team environment, benefiting from structured training and ongoing development. The Role The successful candidate will manage a high-volume caseload of pre and post-litigated housing disrepair claims from inception through to conclusion.

Your responsibilities will include

Managing your own caseload of housing disrepair claims. Handling matters in accordance with the Pre-Action Protocol for Housing Conditions Claims. Drafting Letters of Claim and other legal documentation. Reviewing housing records and surveyor reports to assess liability.

Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process. Issuing court proceedings where necessary. Liaising with counsel, experts and other third parties. Delivering excellent client care while working within a fast-paced litigation environment.

About You The firm is keen to hear from: Qualified Solicitors, Chartered Legal Executives (CILEX) or highly experienced Housing Disrepair Fee Earners. NQ+ Solicitors with relevant Housing Disrepair experience. Candidates from fast-paced litigation backgrounds such as Housing Disrepair, Personal Injury, RTA or other high-volume civil litigation.

Lawyers who are confident managing a busy caseload and working to deadlines. Individuals with excellent organisational, communication and case management skills. The Team You'll become part of an established specialist litigation department that has experienced significant growth over the past 12 months.
