HR Administrator Northampton | Permanent, Full-Time | Office-Based Role Overview We are looking for an experienced, confident and adaptable HR professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be office-based in Northampton, 5 days per week, and will need to be comfortable working in a busy, high-volume environment while supporting a varied portfolio of clients.

We are looking for someone who can hit the ground running, has strong attention to detail, and is confident dealing with both clients and employees professionally. The ideal candidate will: Have previous experience in an HR administration role.

Have a good working knowledge of UK employment legislation and be confident applying this when drafting documents and advising clients. Hold a CIPD Level 3 qualification (preferred but not essential). Be highly proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and other standard office systems.

Be able to confidently draft and populate emails, letters, documents, handbooks and HR correspondence. Have strong attention to detail and accuracy. Be confident and professional communicating with clients by telephone and email.

Confident enough to ask questions but also capable of working independently managing a high volume of work. Be adaptable and able to work across a wide and varied portfolio of clients, each with different requirements. Be organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing demands.

The role will include: Providing day-to-day HR administration and support to a varied client base. Responding to general HR and client queries via telephone and email. Assisting with queries such as holiday calculations, employee changes and general HR processes.

Drafting and issuing resignation letters, offer letters and other employment-related correspondence. Preparing and updating HR documents, letters, handbooks and policies. Taking accurate meeting and HR-related notes. Updating and maintaining employee records and people data within Breathe HR.

Answering incoming calls, taking messages and directing queries appropriately. Assisting with general client administration. Ensuring HR records and systems are kept accurate and up to date. Supporting the wider team with general administrative tasks as required.

Managing a high volume of client requirements while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and service. Essential Previous HR administration / HR experience. Good understanding of UK employment legislation. Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills. Professional telephone and email manner. Strong attention to detail. Ability to manage a high volume of work. Ability to work 5 days per week in the office. Desirable CIPD Level 3 qualification (or working towards) Experience using Breathe HR or similar HR systems. Experience drafting employment documentation and HR correspondence. TPBN1_UKTJ
